There is something deeply special about creating a painting that is meant for one person — just you. Whether it is a portrait of someone you love or flowers that carry personal meaning, a commissioned painting allows a moment, a memory, or a feeling to be preserved in paint.

Commissions may include portraits, floral paintings, or a combination of both. Each piece is created in oil in my soft, detailed, and timeless style, with the same care and attention as my original works.

How the process works

Each commission begins with a conversation. Together we will discuss your idea — the subject, the mood you would like the painting to convey, and the place where the painting will live in your home. This helps determine the size, colours, and overall atmosphere of the piece.

The painting is created from reference photographs. Depending on the subject, you may provide photos, or we can discuss creating suitable references together.

Before I begin painting, I prepare a composition so you have a clear sense of the arrangement and atmosphere of the final piece. This allows us to refine the direction before the painting itself begins.

Once the composition is approved, I begin the painting process. Depending on the size and complexity, a commission typically takes several weeks to a few months to complete.
